24 Weeks

We made it to viablility! If the babies are born anytime after the 24th week they have a very good chance of surviving. Hopefully they are not born anytime soon though. I would love to make it 38 weeks. Still feeling pretty good for the most part. I have some trouble sleeping. My hips really start to hurt at night. My back thankfully is not nearly as painful as it was when I was pregnant with Audrey, but if I do a lot of bending like when I'm cleaning, or if I sit funny for a while it starts to hurt. I've been having a lot of pain around my belly button lately. I think it's just getting stretched too fast. It feels better if I sit down for a while. I'm up 20 lbs now, the doctor told me to expect to gain at least 40 lbs the whole pregnancy.

This weekend we went to Todd and Linnaea's wedding. Todd was Dan's roommate in college and was also his best man in our wedding. It was a busy weekend but we had a lot of fun. I had to document the belly in a dress. I never wear dresses (unless I'm going to a wedding or something) so I took some pictures. I found a really cute dress at Motherhood Maternity and it was a really good price! My heart surgery scar showed a lot in this dress though, that was the only downfall. My scar still looks really bad, and red over 2 years later. I fixed that by borrowing one of my mom's brooches.

Ugh, I'm starting to look pregnant in my face.

I had a lot of fun hanging out with our friends Don and Michelle Serba. Dan was in the wedding so he wasn't able to sit with me for the reception. Unfortunately these are the only pictures I took the whole night.

We had another ultrasound at 23 weeks and 3 days. Both of the babies looked good. They are growing right on target. They estimated baby girl to weigh 1 lb 3 oz and baby boy to weigh 1 lb 2 oz. Next up, I have an OB appointment next Wednesday and then a cervical length ultrasound next Thursday. My cervix is still measuring really good, it is not shortening at all. In fact it measured a little longer this time than last.

Here are the ultrasound pictures. For some reason the ultrasound tech gave us a lot more pictures of baby boy than baby girl.
