Audrey started rolling a lot a few days ago. She thought she'd be advanced and roll from her back to her tummy first. (Babies usually roll tummy to back first). She has done this a couple times before but now every time I put her down she rolls. She can't roll from tummy to back yet, so she just gets mad after a few minutes until I come help her. I'm sure she'll figure it out soon. If you watch the whole video she rolls at the end.

Audrey was baptized this past Sunday. She was such a good girl, not a peep out of her. She wore the same baptism gown that I wore when I was baptized. We had a little party for her at our house afterwards. Here are some pictures from the day:

Audrey is 3 months old today. I keep telling her to slow down but she just doesn't listen! She doesn't go to the doctor for another month but when I try to weigh her at home she's at about 14 pounds. This month she has started to learn how to control her hands a little. As you can see in one of the pictures, she likes to suck on her fingers. It's so funny to watch her concentrate so hard on getting her hand to her mouth. She has started to grab at the toys on her playmat now too. She coos all the time, making all sorts of adorable noises, her favorite of which is "Ah-goo" Owen always said "Ah-goo" at this age too. Do all babies say that? She HATES tummy-time, so I don't think she'll be rolling over anytime soon. She did roll from her back to her tummy a couple weeks back. But I think that was just a fluke. She got really mad once she was on her tummy, so she probably won't be doing that again anytime soon. I don't want to jinx anything, but she has slept through the night the last 3 nights in a row!!!!!! Can you tell how happy I am about that. 3 months was the magic age for Owen sleeping through the night, I'm hoping it is for Audrey too.

Audrey has slept through the night 3 times in the last two weeks! 8 hours straight! It's been really nice. Hopefully she keeps it up! She has really turned into the easiest baby! She is so happy and content most of the time, and naps really well and when she does wake up at night she always goes right back to sleep. In the early days I was a little worried, she was much more high maintenance than Owen was as a newborn. There were nights when she woke up almost every hour and did not want to go to sleep. I would rock her and walk around with her in our bedroom until she fell asleep only to have her wake up as soon as I put her down. And there were days when she only wanted to be held all day. But that really only lasted a few weeks. Things are much easier now. We were really blessed with two great kids!

Audrey had her two month doctor appointment this week. She weighs 11 lbs 12 oz and is 23 inches, 80th percentile for both. She is doing really well and for the past three nights has slept 5 or 6 hours at a time which is much better than she was doing the week before, 3 hours at a time. Hopefully she will continue to do that or sleep through the night soon!

7 weeks old today!

It's finally warm enough to play outside! It's been a long winter, it's so nice to be able to take Owen out again. He loves playing in his sandbox!

5 weeks old today. Here's half of a smile.

Audrey is 4 weeks old today. She gave me her first smile yesterday! Seeing her smile makes all the lack of sleep worth while. I have yet to catch it on camera, but I will post a picture of it as soon as I catch it.

She still sleeps alot, so here is yet another picture of her sleeping but this time at 4 weeks old. :)

Audrey is three weeks old today. She had her two week doctor's appointment on Monday and she is doing great. She is up to 9 lbs 2 oz now. Her cold is getting better. Owen is back to taking naps again this week thank goodness! I think he's starting to get used to having the baby around. He's always asking about the baby when he wakes up in the morning and from naps, and he loves to "help" me change her diaper. Here are some pictures from the past week.

3 weeks old

Two weeks old (and a couple days)! She's growing so fast. She is a great little nurser, we haven't had any problems which makes me so happy since I had such a hard time with it when I had Owen. My poor baby girl has a cold already. Owen and I had a cold last week so I think we passed it on to her. I feel so bad for her. Things have been pretty crazy around here. Audrey just wants to be held all the time and Owen is still adjusting to the changes. I'm lucky if I get a shower most days.

Owen refuses to take a nap now. Yesterday he left his room and I found him downstairs playing with the dog while he should have been napping. He broke one of his piggy banks, and destroyed a couple books. I don't know what to do to get him back to taking a nap. He certainly needs one. He's cranky and hyper and drives me crazy in the afternoon otherwise. Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks.
