Two weeks old (and a couple days)! She's growing so fast. She is a great little nurser, we haven't had any problems which makes me so happy since I had such a hard time with it when I had Owen. My poor baby girl has a cold already. Owen and I had a cold last week so I think we passed it on to her. I feel so bad for her. Things have been pretty crazy around here. Audrey just wants to be held all the time and Owen is still adjusting to the changes. I'm lucky if I get a shower most days.

Owen refuses to take a nap now. Yesterday he left his room and I found him downstairs playing with the dog while he should have been napping. He broke one of his piggy banks, and destroyed a couple books. I don't know what to do to get him back to taking a nap. He certainly needs one. He's cranky and hyper and drives me crazy in the afternoon otherwise. Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks.

Audrey Claire

8 lbs 9 oz
19 1/2 inches

The c-section went well, everyone is healthy. We are so excited to have her here, she is a sweet heart! Owen loves his baby sister! She sleeps a lot right now and is usually in a very good mood when she's awake.

Ready to go home

Owen got his "big boy bed" about a week ago. He's doing pretty well in it. The first night he woke up crying once, but since then he has slept through the night. Nap time was a little challenging today. He kept getting out of the bed and playing. It took him two hours until he finally went to sleep.

So tomorrow is the day! We're having a baby tomorrow! Owen seems excited to be a big brother. We have to be at the hospital tomorrow at 7:00am. I took the last belly picture tonight. The first picture here is from 36 weeks. The 2nd one is from tonight, 38 weeks and 6 days.

At my inlaws for Christmas:

Owen got tons of Thomas toys for Christmas, hours of entertainment.

Owen's cousin Zach and "the hand".

Christmas morning at our house.

My mom came over Christmas night. Here we are trying on his new Robeez slippers. They are so adorable with dinosaurs on them.

The day after Christmas at my Dad's house.

Here I am with Beth who is due with their 3rd boy about 8 weeks after me in May. She was about 20 weeks here and I was about 28 weeks.

It's a Girl!!!

In case you haven't heard, we are having a little girl! We couldn't be more excited. I was convinced this baby was a boy so it was a surprise to me. She's very healthy and measured right on target at the ultrasound. Here are a couple pictures of the belly at 23 weeks and 4 days. ( I don't know why they turned out so fuzzy)

And here are some pictures of the boy being silly with the bubbles during his bath. His language skills have developed at an amazing rate the past few months. He speaks in full sentences a lot of the time now and he started singing the entire alphabet a couple weeks ago. He amazes me everyday! He's just growing up too fast.

This is a little late, but better late than never. It's hard to tell from the pictures but Owen was a monkey for Halloween. He did not like to keep the monkey head on so we didn't get any good pictures. It was very cold and rainy on Halloween night but we took Owen trick-or-treating to a few houses anyways. I think he had fun for the most part. At the first house he thought the lady was trying to take his pumpkin away when she was trying to put the treats in it. He caught on soon after that and thought it was pretty cool that he was getting lots of candy.

We had a lot of fun at the Post Family Farm yesterday. We had great weather for it this year.
